Riding with us.

Before you can book sessions online, all new riders must first complete an assessment with our qualified coach. This helps us understand your needs, experience level, and which activities or support are right for you.

​

By requesting an assessment, you’re taking the first step to joining the Lowlands Farm RDA community. Once your assessment is complete, we’ll assign you a rider grade and create a profile for you. This profile allows you to log in and book sessions online, tailored to your individual level.

What the assessment includes

  • A short, informal session with one of our coaches

  • A chance to meet the horses and ask questions

  • A review of your abilities, support needs, and goals

  • Assignment of a suitable rider level

Once graded, you’ll be able to view and book the sessions appropriate to your level — keeping you safe, supported, and progressing at your own pace. Your Grade is regularly reviewed so that as you grow in confidence, you are able to join more challenging sessions.
