Lowlands Farm RDA Group
Every Saturday throughout the year, with few exceptions, we provide a series of half-hour riding sessions specifically designed for disabled people, to enjoy the experience and therapeutic benefits of riding - and simply being around horses.
Run entirely by volunteers, every Saturday, we hold a minimum of 5 x 30 minute riding sessions - with a maximum of 4 riders per session - designed to help riders with balance, concentration, skill and communication.
Add a large dollop of fun and wrap the whole exercise up with attention to detail and safety.
Our Coaches are experienced riders who have been specially trained for this role; our volunteers are all trained in how to tack and manage horses; and the horses we use are chosen for their temperament and patience.
Our current Trustees are Chair: Marisa Bretherton-Mackay Treasurer: Gavin Pollock Sectretary: David Ivens Sue Mack: Coaching Alex Claughton: Clients and Parents Alison Morris: Volunteers and Operations...
We charge a minimum fee of £25 per session, which helps us to cover the hire of horses and the facilities, buying special tack and kit required for our participants (such as hats and boots), volunteer training, RDA UK Membership fees and insurance, and technology resources to enable you to access our services, and us deliver them. We have no paid staff. Everyone here is a volunteer. If you would like to support this service, please look for the Donate button on this and other pages. Thank you.

Based at Shrewley, Warwickshire, we're a few miles to the West of Warwick, just past Hatton.
